that is the new dmb album title and i love it. groogrux was a nickname of leroi so i love them honoring him. album is out 6/2, they're hitting up the woodlands on 5/1. rob cavallo is producing and timmy reynolds has apparently broken out the sitar. can't wait.

this dropped today. does not disappoint. very solid from top to bottom and easily their best effort in 11 years. faves: why i am time bomb squirm funny the way it is alligator pie (his daughter stella finally gets in a song!)

Heard one of the songs on KGSR today. Sounded pretty good. I'm looking forward to seeing them for the first time at ACL. On another note, I'm very excited about the new Wilco album coming out soon. Should be out by the end of June. KGSR actually played the first release from this album and then the DMB one...I love that station.
I love the classic DMB sound this album has. It's the first time the entire band has participated in the entire process in a decade. My favorites right now are "Funny The Way It Is" "Shake Me Like A Monkey" "Why I Am" "Dive"

Good album, I started listening to the stream last week and have been pretty impressed. It is for sure the guys' best effort in 11 years, however I think Busted Stuff was better than people tend to give it credit for. I still think I will have a hard time putting Big Whiskey in the same category as the original 3 albums though. Favorite tracks so far: Shake Me Like a Monkey, Squirm, Time Bomb and You & Me
