Not sure if desserving of a thread but we are playing the 3 teams in front of us in the playoff spots would be nice if we can win them alll. @ Portland, vs. Utah and Golden State.
Oh man thats rough... Didn't realize it was that nasty. Whoever wins that Utah/Rockets matchup makes the playoffs. Hows that for bold statements.
if we can go 2-1, i will be satisfied.. but i really hope we can win against the Warriors....we haven't won against them for awhile lol.... time to show that we can beat anyone in this league.
In my thread where I predicted 48 wins when we were 17-17, I prdicted we would be 23-19 at this point, and I also said we would go 1-2 in the next 3 games. I believe we will beat the Blazers, but Utah is playing extremely well and GSW is always an impossible matchup for us.

These last two Sonics games aren't very encouraging considering they haven't won a game yet in 2008 (0-12). The Rockets better raise their level of play and concentration. These next 3 games could say a lot about where this team is heading.
man.... im nervous and excited. portland is so athletic and that usually gives us trouble. yao needs to dominate pryzbilla and we should be ok utah.... oh how i hate them. i predict that young beast landry will have a big game this game we will really need t-mac to step up like he did the first game since yao usually struggles so much against them. GS.... yao has GOT TO BE that dominate force down low or we have no chance. but hey, they even beat the spurs w/ duncan not too long ago so i dont even know if that will be enough, but we NEED all three of games no doubt about it. the schedule lightens up a bit after them right ?
if we want to be a great team, we have to sweep. we're better than all these teams (or should be). unless we lose due to bad luck, it's unacceptable. we aspire to be a great team. we must think like one. sweep or nothing.
Portland is a great team at home. Utah is a tough matchup. Nobody on the Rockets can guard Boozer. GS is an even tougher matchup. We can't guard anybody on that team. It's possible that the Rockets can lose three in a row. If they win two out of three, I will be very happy.
Well, the Rockets have also beaten the Pistons, Spurs 2x, Suns, Jazz, Lakers, Blazers, Magic, Nuggets and other top teams this year. Yet, we continue to lose to bad teams, or giv them a fighting shot. So, I do not believe the 2 Sonics' games are of too much concern for the upcoming 3 games.
Portland has a 17-3 home record, but I think the most important game of the 3 is Utah, but they are all hella crucial
ohhhh... those three all have good PG in each team, if we can't restrict them in some point, rafer will not be the only one who'll get ass kicked

If yao plays like he did tonight, they will win. He played huge, made people foul him and set the tempo. Its not the pts, its presence.
