tough to say. big east may be scavenged by other conferences soon. its a good basketball conference but not so great in football. i think its a step up from cusa, but the instability worries me.

AQ conference + strong basketball programs = why not?

I'm tired of this big 12 nonsense, big east is probably our best shot

Yea especially if Notre Dame goes to the Big East.

Why is Notre Dame considering the move? It seems like the ND rule in BCS works well in their favor as long as they stay out of a conference.

Im sure Tulsa will dominate C-USA if the Big East took SMU, UH, and Central Florida.

TCU changed conferences 5 times, it's probably time we start chasing the rainbow, too.

Too bad they are too busy running from the Five-oh.

    Dirty, degenerate criminals.

It would go back to being the season opener, probably.

I definitely could see us taking some of our hometown recruits and kicking butt on a regular basis out there ....To a degree, it depends on the composition ....

That said, I think we'd be selling ourselves short ....

Yeah, that's what worries me. All the good football schools currently there want out. I dunno whether they'll be able to maintain AQ if schools like WVU, Louisville, Rutgers and UConn leave. If they can find a way to get those schools to stay, however, I'd be more than happy with UH joining.

Selling ourselves short of what, though? Big12? They don't seem too interested in us anyway. And what other conferences would be good for us that we could have a decent shot at getting into?
