maybe some of you people dont care, or dont believe anymore. but in terms of the playoff race for the last seed, today is a big freaking day.

    houston vs. New Jersey

    Minnesota vs. Portland

    Pheonix vs. Miluakee

we are 2 1/2 back right now. we can be 1 1/2 back if everything goes right. and plus we still have another game left with minn at home. cmon guys this is very doable.

I think we should forget The SUNS

    To paraphrase from the waterboy

    Where's my b*Tch . .. .
YEAA . . They she is [MINNESOTA!]

I think we can pass minnesota but
the suns are playing well enough to
    stay ahead.

    Rocket River
GUYS! We only have to pass one

The Suns are pretty much out of the equation.

I believe we can catch up to the Puppies though.

I'ma BELIEVER! I'll be watching the Rox and T-Pups games.

    T-Pups'll win, Rox lose.

...just continuing my "whatever I say the opposite happens" philosophy. [IMG]

Chris Webber at the July 28, 2001 3:00 PM news conference when he announces where he will go:

"It seemed tough, but with guidance from Steve Francis, I learned my true destiny. That destiny is to play for the Houston Rockets, to bring them back to championship glory. One big man is all they need, and I believe I can fill that void. Thanks to the loyal fans in Sacramento, but Houston, Texas is where I belong."

I just looked at the schedules again, and it just seems so very possible.

No question it's a big day. Remember that the Rockets have to finish 1 game ahead of Minnesota because the T Wolves own the tie breaker.

I take back my optimistic comment. I counted on the Wolves losing today and on Wednesday. Now it doesn't look like either is going to happen.
