Damn, there are some hot chicks on the show: http://www.cbs.com/primetime/bigbrother8/ Jen is the hottest.
Oh I like the fact that there are two gay ex-boyfriends in there. Both of which have ghonorhia. One says the other gave it to him. I find that funny.
I never watched the show..is it like an mtv show where they live in a house and vote eachother out or some crap? wasn't the real world and road rules the same ****, I don't even know, I just feel blessed to have never watched that garbage.
Its a total psychology/sociology/human behavior experiment...cool to see how people are manipulated, back stabbed, etc...fun stuff for sure.
Do you know what the worst part is, it was started in Holland Fortunatly it isn't showed here anymore. unfortunatly they have a show that is very similar only a little more extreme (de gouden kooi: the golden cage).
wonderfully put. been trying to explain that for years to all my friends who tell me i'm a homo for watching it. if you can sift through all the cheesy challenges and stuff, it really is just an absolutely fascinating game. there's a ton of "poker" to it. here's a question for you that i can't answer. since, at it's essence, it's just about the same game, why is BB about a million times better than Survivor?
Hmmm, thats a tough question. I really dont know. I stopped watching Survivor many years ago, so I forgot all the little details involved in that game. However, from what I remember, your ability to proceed further into that game has to do a lot with how much effort you put forth as far as "survival" is concerned. The guy who catches fish and helps out around the tribe will fair better than the guy who is a lazy ass. Therefore, although Survivor does have elements of "poker", you can still get by on effort, physical activity, etc...However, BB is all mind games from the start...100% poker. It is all about how you interact with everyone in the house, how you build and maintain relationships, etc...that is what draws me to the game. And since the setting of the show is more realistic, I feel many people can relate better to it than a show that takes place on an island. I dont know, but BB is great. And watching the All-Star cast was great because you have the best manipulators all in one house, duking it out and completely back stabbing one another. Awesome. Even though Will didnt win, he is an absolute mastermind.
I always maintained after the first season that Survivor would be so much better if it was actually about survival....kind of like boot camp or navy seal training, if you can't cut it quit...as time goes on the challenges and danger get more difficult....no one's voted out; you lose if you quit or if you can't complete a task...kind of like a Man vs. Wild meets Eco Challenge.
I'm a Big Brother junkie too. I even check the live updates forum to find out what is on the internet feeds. (link will have spoilers about POV, Nominations, and competitions.)
I've watched the Showtime one a few times. That was a given Carol would be gone - she had plans on going back to school before the show was even scheduled to end. I like ED. He'll be a Nom this week for sure.
