in. and i get jammed once again by not having tvguide channel on uverse to scan through after dark. oh well, less hours of my life wasted i guess?
I'm ready and I'm rooting for the Black people who will probably be ousted in the next couple of weeks.
I guess i wont be watching big brother after dark for background noise this summer... Att-Uverse is starting to let me down. first no Rockets now this.
as far as the realism yeah kinda, but it's really closer to survivor, just in a house. It's all about tricking, lying, being honest, looking cute, being a favorite, or doing whatever it takes for people to think you need to stay in the house one more week. People basically vote out whomever they think needs to be out of the house, whether because they think you're a threat, or because you pissed them off by eating the last piece of cake. There are challenges weekly to determine someone who is "untouchable" for the week. and from those challenges the winner determines who gets placed up for eviction (between 2 people) then everyone votes on those people and whoever has the least votes goes home. There are also twists and turns that make the game interesting/predictable. But overall it's a pretty captivating show. more eloquent explanation here: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Big_Brother_(TV_series)
I don't know if I am just getting old but every time any of them open their mouths I just want to slap them. And I've only seen the commercials. I fear if I watch the actual show I might have to slap my self.
A lot of nice eye candy so far. I love how every single person there thinks they are controlling the game. When that one guy jumped off the challenge, they cut to another guy who took credit for it. Then they cut to the guy who jumped off saying he did it on purpose. LOL... I also like the "political consultant" (i.e. intern) who thinks she has to not say what she does for a living because it might put a target on her back. Seems like people say that about every possible career on this show. Your best bet in this game is to lay low for the first 3 or 4 weeks. It's always the people who play hardest from the get-go that go home first. Let the herd thin a little...then start playing. Does anyone have a link to that site that gives live pbp?
