Looks like Al Jefferson got dominated by Dwight Howard yesterday. Anybody see the game? I had hoped Al could neutralize Dwight more if the Rockets were to get him.

I only watched the first quarter. Three passes to the rim for slams by Howard in the first few minutes. Could have been a rotation thing . . .

When has Al Jefferson ever neutralized an opposing C?

Why is he guarding Dwight? He should be benched for someone who can. They have Kanter and Favors, but I'm not sure they would do much better.

just looking at the stat line from last night to compare Jefferson and Howard...comparing the two is insane

    Al Jefferson stat line:

    Al Jefferson, C

    29 mins; 12 pts and 7 rebs

    Dwight Howard stat line:

    39 mins: 17 pts and 13 rebounds

Lakers are going to play like a dog driven into a corner

Jefferson playing the PF here will be ideal cause he would not have to guard the big man and focus on the offensive side of the game for the most part....but the real questionis will he ask for max money seeing that he has already had one in his career??? I'm thinking 4 yrs/13

Speaking of Utah, I know he's not available, but I saw Derrick Favors execute probably the slickest Dream Shake since the original. Man, I wish we could get that kid....

Al Jefferson isn't really a good defender. No surprise here.

His issue is that he doesn't move on D. He's a chair that gets a block once in a while when an opponents moves straight at him. I think that placing him at PF would be a positive thing defensively.

I'd feel confident playing Cole Aldrich on offense if Jefferson was guarding him.

AJ would play the 4 next to Asik if he were here.

I never understood why Clutchfans wants Big Al.. They say they don't want Love because he's never been in the playoffs but Al hadn't been in the playoffs until just recently and has never helped a team improve in wins (he was on lotto Celtics and T'Wolves teams). I'm not saying it's his fault (those teams were bad), but I'm saying hold him to the same standard as Love.. not to mention Love is like 6 years younger..

Maybe different members of CF have different opinions.
