Nothing earth-shattering. Drexler discusses some of the challenges the KG/Pierce/Jesus Shuttleworth trio will face while discussing the big 3 days with Dream/Chuck/Himself. I thought his comment on 2 guys alone being able to win a 'chip was interesting.

    Here is the interview

    pretty humble comments

Yes, Clyde and Hakeem ,as the TWO , would win champship.... together with a STRONG supporting cast ...and just look at what the BOS got....

Feed the roster some talents , they aint even no match for the ferocious WEST or the Texas Trio.

i consider people who know terms like 'jesus shuttlesworth' and know 'akeem' not 'hakeem' people of superior clutchtelligence.

I kinda like what Clyde the Glide have just said, knowing Tmac and Yao's still in the prime and with the cast of Battier, Francis, Jame, Scola and the rest of the Roster are in place this team has got depth than other team. Do you agree? I MEAN DO YOU AGREE?

But tinman, I doubt that more than 10% of this board does not know this.

I mean i do not mind being of a superior clutchtelligence, but if almost everybody know this than there is nobody to be superior to :D

Why not? TRacy Francis and Yao are great players. Francis was a star but I hope he could come back to his greatness next year

I'm interested in seeing how Francis responds next year, playing next to legitimate all-star caliber talent in a familiar, safe environment, without any enablers around to tolerate/encourage his me-first brand of basketball.

I loved Stevie his first time around in Houston, despite his flaws, for his overall enthusiasm for the city and team. I'm looking forward to more of that next season.

And what's great is Steve is mostly paid by someone else, so he wouldn't hurt the team depth.

Ok Tinman, tell me this....what song did they play at the Summit after every game the Rockets won? If you can get that, I will welcome you into the pantheon of Clutch City-zens....

DUN DUN DUN <thsssst>....ANOTHER ONE BITES THE DUST! We had season tickets back in the Championship days, and I remember after every game we won, the power dancers would line-up and do a little march to that song. Great times.

I go back to the college days of live games at Hofheinz with Akeem, Clyde the Glide, Larry "Mr. Mean" Micheaux, and Michael Young (among others) doing a bunch of their Phi Slamma Jamma routine in the early to mid 80s. Ahh, those were the days... ;)

Took me a couple of years (at least) to stop referring to "Akeem" after he changed it to the "H" version.

Is anyone else annoyed by the forum police like this. Obviously, if a moderator feels it needs to be moved, he can move it.

Don't think the comments from the peanut gallery help a lot.

Also, he's referencing former Rockets championship runs....
