7 PM Central, ABC, Cowboys Stadium Everything is at stake for Texas. Will the inept Nebraska offense make for a Longhorn pounding or will the Huskers' defense make for a good game? Nebraska doesn't have near the mobility at the QB position that A&M had which should make horns feel better about seeing what was the nation's best defense for so much of the season. The Orange Bowl would be great but nothing beats the spotlight of the National Championship game. I've love nothing more than to see the Texas D have a chance to take out Tim Tebo and leave no question to who was the greatest college QB. ...please no trolls.
I just hope this year isn't payback for 1996. The Nebraska offense is completely inept. Their defense is great. Texas has an explosive offense. Their defense is great. If Texas doesn't make stupid mistakes (turning the ball over 4+ times), then they should win the game easily. Even if they do make quite a few mistakes, they still have a good chance to win this game. Did I mention 1996 yet? Yes...I'm nervous.
If anyone can find an online link for me, I would be very grateful!! In africa for work, game will be on at 2am, hoping I can somehow find a good stream.. radio link might be better.. Hook em!
Nebraska has an excellent defense up front. I think they'll get pressure on McCoy and make running the ball difficult. On the other hand, the Texas D will create a lot of havoc against an average at best Nebraska offense. Texas should win this one easily. They should. But they won't. Nebraska: 31 Texas: 27 I fully expect to be dead wrong about this prediction.
check this site for radio around gametime. Hope it works for you.. http://freefootballradio.com/schedule.html
I just don't see Nebraska putting that many points on the board against a motivated Texas defense. Nebraska only has a chance if they can contain Colt and Shipley. It will either be a close low scoring affair or a blow out by Texas.
So a UT loss tonight likely puts TCU in the national championship game. Either way, the state of Texas wins.
