Wow. Biden just made himself look very, very ignorant.

Amazing when candidates actually spend a lot of time with the press. Makes for a lot of potential bloopers, eh? I commend those candidates who do not live in fear of the press, voters, and you tube.

Beebster - are you trying to provide the excuse that Biden talks so much to hte press, that he forgets his facts? You seem to give him the benefit of the doubt. I don't. He probably has no clue who the president was in 1929.

hi texxx. No, there's no excuse for that. I'm merely saying that, even if brilliant people like you or I spoke to the press a lot, we would eventually say something that, in sound bite form, would sound less than brilliant. Hard to believe, but I think it's true.

And I am pointing out that we don't have this kind of access to your homies MC Cain and S-Pale. Why are they hiding from the press, the voters, and you tube?

I think it depends on whether or not he was on the offensive glass or the defensive.

On offense Moses would tip it a lot to try to make the basket, but on defense usually he would just go up and get it.

The Press is too unworthy for McCain and too unclean for Palin.

Which gaffe is more relevant. Biden mistaking 1932 for 1929, or McCain not knowing the difference between Shi'ia and Sunni, or knowing how many troops we actually have in IRaq, and after he was given the correct number still clinging on to his own wrong figures. Or McCain not knowing that Spain is in Europe, is an ally, and who their leader is, etc.

McCain's gaffes certainly seem to be more policy related.

Also, I'm not sure how many homes had TV sets in 1929. I'm guessing zero.

TV wasn't commercially available until the late 1930s.

A gaffe is saying you have visited 57 states. This was more than a gaffe.

I am really, really scared about the
possibility of Palin becoming our president....

I will be genuinely dumbfounded if the Republican
ticket can still win after 8 years of this ****..........

If this was a gaffe, what was McCain's screw-up on Spain? Even though McCain knew Herbert Hoover and FDR doesn't mean that he would potentially be needing them as an ally.

What's scary is that Biden is the only 'experienced' guy on the ticket. And he obviously has no grasp of economics or finance. Couple that with his in-fighting with Obama over tv spots, bail-outs and the like, and you've got a mess WITHIN the libs' very own ticket. Just hilarious. Has the democratic party ever been this chaotic? I thought Barakka Dukakka was the great uniter?

Nah, I just know that Moses Malone was real, not some mythological character, like you are referencing.
