Bibby - He has a 11.5 mil contract accelerating through 2009. Sacr is rebuilding and need to cut some $$. Especially if they are going to resign Peja after next year.
So, (moochie+Baker+Spoon), a #1 and another contract to make the numbers work for Bibby and dead weight (Ostertag/Corliss/Skinner) might work. Of course, if we were willing to take KThomas with his long bad contract, we might get draft picks instead of giving them.
ie. Bibby+KThomas+picks for Moochie/Spoon/Baker and a round out contract.
But, even for Bibby, KennyT's contract may be too onerous to take.
I would do it if we could get Peja (this works for the cap; Peja+KennyT for expiring contracts of mooch/spoon/baker and picks), but I do not think Sac will let him go.

    So, go for Bibby.
(moochie+Baker+Spoon), a #1 and another contract to make the numbers work for Bibby and dead weight (Ostertag/Corliss/Skinner)

    PG Bibby/James/Sura
    SG Wesley/Sura/Barry
    SF TMac/ Sura
    PF Juwan/ MLE signee/ Corliss?
    C Yao / Mutumbo/Padgett/Ostertag?

We wouls still only have two superstars (Tmac and Yao), but we would have three quality starters by anyone's standards (Bibby/Wesley/Juwan) and some really good role players (Sura/James). A little more depth and we would be hard to beat.

Bibby is the only untouchable on the Kings. He isn't going anywhere.

Bibby would be nice..don't know if it's possible..but yeah he'd really be great with Tmac and Yao.

But I think we should really get a power forward..a Stromile or Tyson or Kwame..or draft a rookie with potential and yeah.

    Padgett is a 3/4, not a center.

Oh yeah, and Bibby is the Kings best player right now, I don't think they are planning to trade him.

You could get Jim or Henry Bibby, and neither would cost you such an abundance of talent.

They might not trade Bibby even if we were to offer T-Mac because of having Peja. That's how unlikely our chances of getting him right now are.

i love how people always rationalize their way into ridiculous trade proposals.

does bibby have pretty big contract? yes.
is sac rebuilding? seems like it.
do they need to cut some $$$? perhaps.
does that mean they'll trade him for BS? NO.

well i guess that could work but what kind of gun does cd have up to the maloof brothers heads?

ask yourself this, would you trade mike bibby for spoon, mooch, and vin baker? didn't think so. i like the part where we also get kenny thomas and then they give US a draft pick.

Why in the world would the kings do that???
Why don't we trade (moochie+Baker+Spoon), a #1 and another contract to make the numbers work for GARNETT. i'm sure minesota wants to get rid of that fat contract:rolleyes:
