    biased broadcasting the suns game!!!

As I was watching the Rockets vs Suns on ESPN, I realized how biased
Musberger was. Who is this guy? All his comments were all about the Suns, good or bad. If they were winning, "They are making shots and are not soft. I don't see how they are soft. Amare isn't soft, Marions isn't soft. They are not soft". If they were losing, his comments were all about what they had to do to get back into the game. What is this? He must have mentioned the soft comment at least 10 times. He was a really annoying commnentator to listen to as a Rockets fan.

They were fairly quiet when the Suns were making their run.

Fast break basketball folks, we are seeing it. This team has revolutionized how the game is played. Phoenix, wow. Such exciting basketball. I want to have the baby of the Warriors-Suns game last night, I think that was the greatest basketball game since Adam dunked on Eve's noggin.

Then they show the fast break points in the first quarter:

    Suns 2, Rockets 2

Well I was on Fox Sports til I saw it was on ESPN too. So I changed to ESPN. And then first thing I hear is Tom Tolbert saying GIVE IT TO NASH RYAN BOWEN CAN'T GUARD HIM. .....in his voice. Matt Bullard was a much better commentator tonight. No thanks to ESPN. ESPN has better sound and image..but I'd rather watch Fox Sports..not as crazily biased. To be honest, I didn't like when Bill was praising the Suns so much in the first quarter. :)

I agree the Espn crew was totally licking the Suns Bootie...

Nash for MVP blah blah ...CRAP!

Suns lost because they play no defense....
    Rockets shots were going in....

Sura why the hell he missed those 2 and then at the line as though it did not phase him....

LOL!! Yea, that was great! And the first highlight, during them praising them revolutionizing the fast break, was from them playing the Sixers!

Tom Tolbert was praising the Suns even when we were cutting the lead in the 1st quarter. He seems to really dislike us.

i was laughing on how that guy kept saying the suns aren't soft and they end up getting handled in the 3rd QT. if you noticed, the announcers got more quiet and less excited when the rockets were beating up on the suns during that good stretch we had.

Well, like it or not, the Suns are the prototype the league would love to have as standard NBA ball, so they are marketed as such.

I HATE that style of basketball, I don't think it is REAL basketball, because it really diminishes the importance of playing defense, and if you ask anyone who knows me, I would much rather watch a defense-oriented team than a team like the Suns, because that is not how the game, IMO, should be played.

Look, there is a reason why NBA popularity has been declining over the years in relativity to other sports.

The NBA is just a business, and I really do think it has been steadily losing its core audience in recent years, instead gaining a market of youngsters who are not hardcore NBA fans, but instead are more interested in fancy passes and fancy dunks, but don't really appreciate the real fundementals of teh game.

Brent is generally a front-runner no matter what the sport.
