Vernon was a big shot-maker throughout the playoffs. Ron was horrible offensively until game 7 of the Finals.

Maxwell is better - no contest. When Artest was with the Rox, I remember thinking "Ron, please don't shoot it".
i would take maxwell over artest both on offense and defense. and i would have to think about it very much either.

stats are deceiving, they both had similar stats. Maxwell was a much smarter offensive player, he knew how to get the ball to Hakeem. Also a superior ball handler, which stats don't show.
Perceptions bias & Nostalgia FTW. Maxwell sucked on offense other than the rare streaky nights when he was on....Which were exceedingly rare.
