While whoever coined "the Dynasty" had the right idea, I just don't think it rolls off the tongue as well as some of the competition. While nicknames like "Stevie Franchise", Hakeem "the Dream", "Air" Jordan, etc. remind me automatically of basketball, "the Dynasty" kinda sounds like something I'd hear watching the WWF.

I propose a new nickname for our young communist center. How about "Chairman" Yao?

Yes, let's give our center a nick reminiscent of a twentieth century dictator.

Someone metioned "The Myth" before and I like it.

    Yao Ming "The Myth"
    Eddie Griffin "The Eraser"
    KT - K9
    Mobley - Cat
    Francis - Wink, Franchise

    Cats and Dogs playing together.

Yeah, the most common are the ones you mentioned...

    The Ming Dynasty
The Great Wall of Yao (or Ming).
    Chairman Yao

Those seem to be the most popular, at least until a some better
ones come along. ESPN and FOX like using those.

Why the heck not? As long as he "murders" people on the floor.

I mean, unless you've got pictures of yourself tied to a paper mache oil derrick protesting old Oilers games, I don't see a problem.

    Here's a throw-back from Flash Gordon comics...

    "Ming The Merciless"

It means "Ming, the one who shows no mercy"..."ruthless."

It has a ring to it... and hopefully a future with a ring in it.;)
