How many people shut off their TV's tonight in disgust? Raise your hands. Don't be shy.

My eyes deserve better. In much the same way, my dollars deserve better. I love this team and I always will but there is no way in hell I would drop $$$ on them right now because there is just no way to tell which team will show up - the fun, entertaining winners or the lazy, mistake-prone wannabe's.

I'm all for noisy crowds and good attendance, but if they win, the crowds will come. It is really just that simple.

One question: why are the prices so high for games? I have looked at pricing scales and I just can't believe the costs etc of most seats...

It's not exactly of much relevance to me...living on the other side of the world, it's not like I am going to go each game:)...but it has always perplexed me.

To take a family with two kids etc seems to run up to a few hundred Australian dollars in the good seats...

Wouldn't it make sense to lower the prices, get real fans their etc...full houses ...and pump up the atmoshpere?

Blinebury has bashed the team as i have never before seen in the Chronicle.

Talk really is cheap. Never give a reason for the other team make the game a pride thing.

I would imagine that our boys were taught a valuable lesson in humility last night. They needed a good dose of reality. This team is young so they need and deserve to take their lumps. I think in the long run only positive things will come of this. Pass the bong, please

At least you could turn the tv off! I was at the game and was ready to leave 6min into the 3rd quarter, I stayed till 3min left in 4th qurater. A lot of fans had already left.
I stayed hoping for a comeback that never happened.

In matters controversial my perception's rather fine, I always see both points of view, the one that's wrong and mine.

So they had a bad game. It happens. They were at home, what do you expect? Not to mention they had already beaten the crap out of Miami on their home court and the Heat didn't look like they were going to be denied. The Rockets are not a good home team -- one of the worst in the league. The fact is though that they are a much better team than many other teams that are drawing way more crowds. "If they win, the crowds will come" seems to only apply to Houstonians. There just aren't as many heypartners and jamcrackers in Houston as there are in other cities--that's the bottom line. This thread was already about attendance, so I hope I don't get jumped for it.

I expect the so-called future superstar to pick a better time to play his Ace-card inspirational quote saying "if I were coach"

Dreadful. What idiotic timing for pulling the superstar ace-card. This kid has a lot to learn.

Consistency is one thing the Rockets wish they had. One great game and everyone is cheering like were going somewhere. Rudy is talking about a win streak(in your dreams). The next game, we play worse than the LA Clippers.

Why won't the Rockets make the playoffs?

    Could it be.................."inconsistency"?

    Yes it could.

Its easy to be a fan when the team is winning. That's called the bandwagon. The true measure of fandom is being there regardless of how the team is playing.

The Rockets have alot of exciting players, but aren't ready to compete. Not yet. If you won't go to the game because the team gets blown out occassionally (what, all of 3 times this year?) then you don't know what bad is. Try being a Clippers fan, or a Wizards fan, or a Grizzly fan. The Raptors are also a .500 team, and they sell out every night.
