Yao's been making some really great plays in recent games. Which do you think is the best? The ones that I can think of are:

    1. Big block on Andre Miller
    2. Throwdown on Brian Skinner (foul was not called) and then yelling at him
    3. Complete tooling of Tony Battie with the spin move chicken wing dunk
    4. I think this was agains the nuggets too... spin move dunk on one end, emphatic block on the other

That spin move is becoming his bread and butter move as of late. Now if he could just add the ball fake and up-and-under to it, he could have his opponents jumping up and down trying to find him. You know, like David Robinson. :D

The Pick he set on C. Arroyo at the end of the Magic game. He nearly killed the poor guy!

I still like his spin to the baseline and when it gets taken away he spins back to the middle for the jump hook. He makes it look pretty fluid for a guy of his size or any size of that matter. Try stopping that move on a frequent basis.

Yes! Great play. I should have put that in there. I really liked that spin he put on Battie in the same game though... Yao just completely left him there, looking discombobulated.

If only stockton was still playing so he could run into the great wall as well.

I think that is the job of R2K. ;)

I still can't believe how often Yao succeeds with that spin-move. Once he spins, the rest is an automatic score, virtually every time. Everyone in the league must have seen it by now, but Yao still does it at least once per game. I love it.

And he certainly doesn't owe us any clips.
I think a number of us (myself included) have begun to take R2K's services for granted. ;)

That's the one I like also because Yao makes the decision during the play. Defender takes away the baseline, Yao spins and drops it in. Anybody have any ideas what Yao yelled at Skinner when he posterized him?

I agree. It's amazing someone that big could make a series of fluid moves like that in the same play.
