Heading up to Tailgate in an hour, and I need suggestions.

I'm a fan of swiss and jalepenos, and having them quarter it, so it's like I have 4 mini burgers.

But I'm open to something new.

Gentlemen, you have one hour. I will take the best suggestion and post my results later.

I'd like to try that place, but Tailgate is the destination today.

I think I am the only person that goes out and gets a burger with just cheese, mustard, mayonnaise, and ketchup on it.

I prefer bacon, cheese and maybe some A1 on my burgers. I always get the hotdogs from Tailgate, though. There's something about them and you can't beat the price.

Olives/Olive Spread on the top bun is a nice touch sometimes with mustard and mayo.

Avacado with some hot sauce and mayo.

Guacamole. Adds a whole new twist, and delicious flavor to a burger. I put it on my turkey burgers all the time.

Pickled fennel. Sounds kind of weird, but it pairs really well with all sorts of cheeses and and it adds some nice brightness to the burger. And it's really easy to make.

You, my friend, are either Central/South American/Cuban or are a true burger eater - one who knows his most recent burger may be his last. You don't mess with that fluff crap people put on a burger. You make me proud (and admittedly a bit scared). :D

You can't do this there, but if you ever have a burger at home, try throwing some onions into a pan with some oil, worcestershire sauce, and salt and pepper. It's even better if you do it in/on the same pan or flat top you cooked your burger.

I grew up eating burgers but I never saw an egg on a burger til I went to Australia in 2000. That's when I realized I hadn't been going to the right places to eat burgers.
