Got me some gigantic king crabs. I love to grill everything, but wonder if you can grill crab? I'm thinking cajun style?

Or is grilling crab not a good thing? I'm open to suggestions.

And no, none of you can come over.

Thems... Good Eats. Microwaving it the way he does it probably tastes identical to regular steaming. The guy is an expert of food preparation, after all.

I've never heard of microwaving them, but I trust Alton and I would try it.

If you're buying king crab legs, they're already boiled I believe. Like that Alton Brown recipe above, you should be able to just microwave them to heat them up, steaming them in their shells.

I just put them in a big old pot with some crab boil. No reason to get fancy, king crab legs are the best eating possible.

Definitely. I just stuck them on the grill for a few minutes to warm them up. You don't want to cook them too long or they will get dry.

I don't know if this works with King Crab but you could satay the crab in a mixture of vegetable oil, eschalottes, ginger and garlic. Or you could boil the crab and just make a dipping sauce of vinegar + finely chopped ginger

Nope, because I wanted that grill flavor. The shell protects the meat from get burnt. I only did king crab legs this way, but I think it would work for the body too.
