If you work out on the west side, then go to Pho One. It's my favorite Vietnamese spot in the city. Located at Westheimer and Wilcrest.

I live right near Pagoda now. I'm not a big fan. Overpriced and average food. Seriously guys, try Pho One. It's owned by a really nice Vietnamese family that moved to west Houston after Katrina. I miss being able to go there every week.

Yeah, that place is strict Vegan I think. It's been open for at least 10 to 15 years and it's run by Monks and sister Monks who all follow the Supreme Leader. No joke, it's some lady...my Grandpa became a big follower near his death and gave that cult/group/whatever/religion all his $$$. I think the Supreme Leader moved to Florida.

Food is pretty damn good there. They make tons of faux meat dishes that taste like meat.

    Mai's is not too good.
    Sinh Sinh is alright.
    Tay Do is pretty good.
Kim Son is for weddings, nothing else.

    For sandwiches, Givral or Don's.

Of course, Crawfish and Beignets (but they don't sell Beignets) for crawfish.
