Austin Chronicle....not for news, but they have a better listing of what is going on than the other papers.

    Houston Press

Their journalism skills are better than the Houston Chronicle, and their stories are infinitely more interesting.

    AAS sucks
    SEN sucks

DMN is ok, but their sports writers are worse than the ones in Houston.

    FWST is decent

no mention of the Lubbock Avalanche Journal?

I like the cottonelle too, but our toilets suck. Or don't suck enough, so the cottonelle tends to clog them.

Subscribing to the Austin American Statesmen is like having a new Dan Brown novel delivered to your doorstep each day.

Umm no way, any sportspage that replaces Kevin Blackistone with Jean Jacques Taylor and yet still employs Tim Cowlishaw cannot be in the running.
