Roster moves for all three teams. New coach and system in H'town. Yao a year older. Rox off 2 a great start. . . How do you rank the three Tejas teams?

After agonizing for several minutes, my guess is:

    1.Dallas

    2. San Antonio

    3. Houston

You agonized over this? 1 and 2 are the only tough calls. The Rockets are 3, plain and simple. The Mavs and the Spurs have been Western Conference elite teams for a few years now. The Rockets have beaten the Magic, Heat and Nuggets this season.

Time is the only thing that can tell if the Rockets can pass the Mavs and Spurs.... right now though they haven't done anything to show that they are better than the two teams that were in the West Finals last season.

Clutch, it's not that the Rockets are worse than San Antonio and Dallas, it's how far behind they are. Bottom feeding on lottery teams and getting worked by decent teams is not a sign that the Rockets are making any progress. The Spurs played the Mavs and Lakers competitively without Duncan and Parker. We straight up got our asses kicked by Dallas...
