Following Manny Ramirez and FFB's lead here, thought it would be fun to do a Sports Movie Tournament. This thread is for nominations only. I want to set up the seeding fairly and thought this would be the best way to do it. So even if someone else has nominated a movie, still list it with your suggestions as the movies will be seeded based on the # of nominations!!!!! My nomanies (short list to get things started) Hoosiers Remember the Titans Field of Dreams Bull Durham Bad News Bears Raging Bull The top 32 (would doubt that we would have enough for 64??)will be in the tournament. Nominations end Wednesday at 5:30 PM. Tournament starts Thursday at 8am.
speaking of which, be sure to designate which Rocky movie (i.e. I, II, III or IV) and any other movie that had a sequel

thats good ...but please don't nominate movies for "filler" ...it defeats the purpose of this thread and the seedings just nominate movies you think were the best, even if they have already been nominated
Damn, I can't believe White Men Can't Jump hasn't gotten more nominations...It's OK, though...give it a really low seed and we'll watch it steamroll through the tournament... "What is a quince?!
