When I'm sad these songs usually help out and make me sadder, how 'bout you?:(
-Morphine is usually good when I'm sad, the group that is. Take me with you, Souvenier, Rope on Fire, any will do. :(
    -Beck-Nobodys Fault but my Own.:(
-Sade-any song. Just cry with me baby!:(
-Wynton Marsalis. Never Let me go:(
-Simply Red. Holding back the Years:(

Oddly enough songs that just make me completely sad when I hear them are:
-The Police-Every little thing (Don't know why, guess it reminds me of HighSchool and I get sad at the years gone by!)
-Little River Band-Walking in the Park (and reminiscing)
    -Devo:(

In fact, I call it the depressed song.

this is my favorite song of all time.

I was thinking of it when I read the thread, but it really is a love song. it is about the seasons.

i once taught myself the song on guitar

End of the Road by Boyz II Men is a great song...and an unbearable song to listen to after a break-up.

The whole Coldplay album. ****, what's it called, "Parachutes" maybe...? I don't know, I put that one away right after my last breakup. I was afraid I'd kill myself listening to that thing.

"If It Happened To Be", Damon Johnson

    "2002" by Bob Schneider

    "Ten Years Gone", Led Zeppelin

"Title Song", Black Crowes (this one's unreleased and **** YOU Chris and Rich Robinson for not releasing it, you goddamned idiots)

And finally, at least one I'll be embarassed by:

"Forgiveness", Don Henley. Yes I am that old.

i was driving from NYC to HOuston, I was passing through Birmingham Alabama, I remembered an old friend of mine I hadnt seen in ten years had moved here.

I pulled over and looked him up, sure enough he was listed.

we caught up on the past ten years and we split ways again.
I got back in my car and Ten Years Gone came on.
    it was very emotional.

Ramble on , while we are at it.

Hey Mr. Greasy, listen to anything by Staind it all sounds sad and depressing. Fade, Outside, Its Been Awhile, etc.

Also, try Chumbawamba- Tubthumping to lift your spirits. :)

Enya has some good sad songs... and a couple of happy ones.

Kagy... that Coldplay album IS pretty emotional.

Nick Drake could induce suicide, he induced his own...

"I'm So Lonesome I could Cry", the late, great Hank Williams. Nothing else comes close.

Here's To The Night (Eve 6) - Reminds me of summer and all of my friends from the beach who I dont get to see again until June.
