what single play by a rockets player has impressed you the most. since i've only been a fan since 91 i'm referring to anything in between then. for me i think it was in golden state 2 seasons ago. the same game that moochie banked a 3 at the buzzer for the win getting his first game winner. any way in that game mobley took off from the free throw line and was fouled at the last second by foyle i think. since he was fouled and didn't make the shot it wasn't on sportscenter or anything. had he made it which he almost did even though he was fouled i would say it would have been one of the if not the best dunk in nba history nobody knows what i'm talking about amongst my friends, their has to be somebody here who knows what i'm talking about

does it really matter, i wrote this out of boredom and it really has no significance at all pretty much like everything else on this board, i like the rockets board for trade info, houston articles, etc. i guess i'm not calling the shots but if i had it my way the what if's and memory lane post's like i just wrote wouldn't be under the rockets board it would be with the insignificant stuff like the other 28 teams and lebron that can be found under nba.

Barkley, offensive rebound, ourback, and the foul. It was in his last game ever. It isn't that it was a spectacular play, just that scoring of an offensive rebound after fighting his way back from the horrible injury was a fitting end to a legend's career. Mobley came over and hugged him. I still have the clipping from my local paper.

this isn't the best Rockets play BUT...

when Hakeem hit that 3 pointer to seal the second championship against Orlando in Game 4, oh man that was INCREDIBLE. The Summit just erupted when the ball went in.

Do you have any other basketball clips of Barkley? I want to add more video clips to my Charles Barkley website at www.geocities.com/dion404/DionJ.html

Was in the playoffs against the Suns. Kevin Johnson had what looked like an easy slam dunk on a fastbreak. None of the Rockets had even bothered to try and get KJ, except Hakeem. Hakeem ran down the court full speed, and just as KJ was about to slam it easily, here comes Hakeem out of nowhere swatting the ball from KJ as KJ falls flat on his ass afterwards. Hakeem wasn't seen in the camera til you saw this big arm come into view and Hakeem flying by. Was absolutely incredible to watch, considering I've never seen a Center with that kind of hustle or agility do that since.

Personally I will always remember the year we traded for Clyde Drexler and we were in a pretty intense game at Denver and Pete freaking Chilcutt of all people comes out of nowhere to rebound a missed shot with a thunderous tomahawk jam. I was like "whoa, that was a great play!"

    Sampson's shot on the Lakers,

Does anyone remember Sleepy Floyd dunking on Manute Bol,

Otis Thorpe grabbing a rebound with one hand

and any of Vernon Maxwell's last second shots on the Spurs. He hated those guys.:D

Dream's skying out-of-nowhere one-handed rebound/jam over the awestruck earthbound Knicks in the finals.

What made that even better was Ewing had just done the same thing with two hands.

But what truly made it classic is it happened during the White Bronco chase. Another police chase through L.A.

    Barkley,
Gets the defensive rebound, a fierce one at that, BEFORE HIS FEET TOUCH THE GROUND he passes it full court to clyde drexler right in front of the basket for a dunk

    I was there. oh yes.

During the championship playoff game in NY against the Knicks, Ewing was guarding Dream and Dream faked to his right, and then went back to his left with a 360 degree spin around Ewing and then threw down a tomahawk dunk with his right hand.

    The crowd just went "oooohhhhhhhhh".

That was one of the sweetest moves I've ever seen by anyone.
