My personal favorite's are Fuddrucker's, and Bellaire Broiler burger. I could eat at those places every day! Curious on y'alls. And I know both of mine are local's so, as far as the poll, I've gotta go with...........(drum roll) Jack in the Box! (although BK came very close because of their recent ingenuity) Best breakfast fast food will always be Whataburger! (ever had a potato and bacon and egg and cheese taquito? They'll do it, and it is heaven at 3 A.M.) I'll post write-ins if I can't get them all in. (Mmmmmmm sooooooo many) I also know that I left off Prince's and Cliff"s. Damn good, but it's my post, and these are mine! (I've also realized that half of my choices aren't open at 2:00 A.M., but they're good enough to mention here.)
BMW3: What is it about in and out burger? I posted it here because I've heard so many talk about it. So...... what are they doing that other's aren't?
I haven't been in California since last summer, but it's just something about their burgers that make you wanting more. This place is so packed during lunch hours it's crazy. But its worth the wait! Those Taquitos at Whataburger you are talking about freakin delicious as well. But as of late I've been going to Sonics for their breakfast toaster sandwiches which are freakin good too!
if we gotta go with burgers, i'd say fuddruckers! they got the most biggest and the most delicious burgers i have ever eaten. jack in box comes close though (in my opinion). but if i gotta vote the whole entire menu of a fastfood chain, i gotta give it to mcdonalds. its known world-wide, that's enough reason to be the best.
favorite would probably be jack in the box for their breakfast jacks plus the chicken pieces. at most other places i only get one item, although fuddrucker's buns are so damn good, plus you can make it anyway you want it. nothing touches mcdonald's for breakfast, especially the hotcakes. if i didn't care about my arteries continuing to function, i would get 6 of those bad boys every morning for the rest of my life. as it is, i hardly ever get them as i don't go to fast food places that often. man, now that i think about it, outside of subway and freebirds i really don't go to many fastfood places at all (and even those i don't hit up that often). at school i don't have a car and thus can't get many places so i just eat whatever groceries i've bought and then back at home it's either stuff from the store or whatever my mom cooks up. i can't remember the last time i went to a place on the list.
I know it ain't fast food, but the best burgers are at Beck's Prime...now that is some good stuff. That and a chocolate shake...mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm. Anyhow the best fast food place is Taco Cabana. Cheap, fast, good atmosphere, free refills, get as much jalapenos, onions, cilantro, pico de gallo, salsa, salsa verde, and salsa fuego as you want. And the best part of all its open 24 hours and a great place to go after you've got a few beers in you.
Of your list, I choose Bellaire Broiler Burger, but they aren't exactly "fast food" since they aren't a chain or a franchise. If you want good burgers in Houston, go to Lankford Grocery in Midtown or Roznovsky's in NW Houston.
I agree Fatty and BMW3, In n Out burgers rock. I am not sure if it`s the fresh onions, the sauce, the toasted buns or what but they are the best fact food hambugers bar none. Since they werent on the list I went with White Castle.
There is a place on Hempstead Rd in NW Houston..I forgot the name...Its a hole in the wall, but their burgers were delicious and huge.
