The best player player from Wiggins, Parker, Embiid draft has been Nikola Jokic. He has BPM of 6 WS/48 of .25 and a PER of 26 and he was a second round pick. I think Embiid might turn out better if he can ever stay healthy which is probably unlikely. However as it stands today it look like a second rounder might be the best player in his class. His passing is pretty ridiculous for a big man.

lol if you think jokic is better than embiid. embiid is on mins restriction and is destroying the league and not even trying. this is technically his rookie season.

He's really good. I think he should work with Hakeem. His footwork seems so messy when he posts and he doesn't really create a lot of separation. He's got some dream shake esque type of moved but could really benefit from tightening it up.

Embiid is really good tho. He's still the best from that class Imo but Jokic is right there.

Too bad his defense is atrocious. I mean really, everyone talks about how bad Okafor is but Jokic isn't that much better.

If only Donatas and Domantas can realize their full potentials and play like Jokic

I like Jokic very much but none of those players are a finished product right now. You have to take into consideration in this conversation the untapped potential. With Jokic athleticism, the hope of him becoming a good rim protector is non existant.
On the other hand with Embiid's talent and athleticism he can only get better and better.

Embiid is already better, was always better, and will always be better than Jokic.

I really like Jokic but his lack of defense at his position is a major concern. I don't think he's anywhere near as good as Embiid right now because Embiid is a dominant player on both ends.

Jokic has great skills . The growth for him will be physical . Come I next year leaner and stronger and more explosive. With NBA trainers I think he has a good shot to improve his body .

Embiid is great no doubt and there is a reason he was drafted much higher .

Wiggins and Parker are still figuring things out . Both still absolutely have exceptional ceilings . Skills are much more of a requirement on the wing than for a big where athletisicm and hustle can get you by to a decent extent.... I'm not saying that embiid and jokic don't have skills , but skills are much more neccesary for smaller players.

So far Wiggins needs to improve his shooting and Parker needs to improve his handle.

I kind of agree in terms of who has played the best basketball to this point. Embiid's main superpower is his usage rate, he's not a particularly efficient scorer (yet). And carrying the load for a bad team is a part of that, but at the same time I'm not jumping in line to drool over a guy posting a 103 offensive rating no matter how bad the team.

Jokic is well rounded and his efficiency is off the charts.

Long term, I imagine Embiid's physical talent will win out.

Wiggins and Parker aren't in the conversation yet. Honestly I think Rodney Hood has played better basketball than either thus far, if you're talking about wings - equivalently talented scorer with a much better assist to turnover ratio.

Embiid has shown he can't stay on the court. Being able to stay on the court is huge. I just have little faith he can stay healthy at this point. If he does then he is a better player because of his defense, but I think Jokic is a better offensive player.

Give him a couple of seasons to develop. I think Embiid is going to wreck shop once truly healthy.

The under-24 big man talent in the NBA right now is insanely good.

Davis, Embiid, Towns, Gobert, Turner, Porzingis, Jokic, Drummond.

Loads of future franchise players at the center position, very exciting.

Parker is the superior player to Wiggins.

Capela was a pretty good pick in retrospect.

Well with Parker blowing out his ACL and Embiid always hurt I think Dokic is looking pretty good as the best player from his class.
