Looks like you guys are over the limit there WWR. (And under the limit lenthwise on a few of those.....) Gamewarden may come knocking.
It is law breaking of such great magnitude that is decimating the trout population in Galveston Bay -- I have filed a report with a major government agency.
You don't think anyone hears grief when some hunting pictures get posted up in the hunting forums I frequent...........with pics such as.... Make my day.
Since my dad was sick the past couple of years (and now that he's passed away), I haven't been fishing in a while. I've inherited all his fishing tackle to go with my own. I now have an entire room full of really amazing tackle and I want to start using it again. I prefer light tackle fresh water fishing - bass, perch, crappie, etc.- with lures as opposed to bait. I'm not opposed to salt water, but I'd love to get back out doing some fresh water fishing. My dad and I fished below the Lake Houston dam quite a bit, in Duessen Park, in the San Jacinto River and a few other places. I love fishing Lake Conroe, Lake Livingston and even Huntsville State Park. If anyone has any other suggestions, I'm all ears.
I've also been looking for a place to go. I haven't been fishing in years, but used to skip class and go fish for bass at Huntsville State Park while I was in college. I don't have a boat, so I'm looking for places you can fish from land. Aren't there some stocked ponds out in Katy? I thought I read that a while back.
LOL @ WWR's window decals. Should not be hard to locate. I do miss fishing. Catch and release, natch.
I prefer catch and release as well. Namely, the relocation kind of release. Specifically into my oven or skillet.
