I got no cable/digital tv, so I'm forced to forage. I'd like to find a smoke-free place where I wouldn't have to spend more than $5 in beer or food to watch the game. There must be somewhere better than the Mr Gatti's by the university.

    Thanks!

You should try Pluckers. Good wings (that will be getting cooked by an old friend of mine), no smoke, and Big Ass Beers for like 3 or 4 dollars. They usually play whatever sporting events they can find, and I think this one will be a lock tonight. If not, I can use my connections :))) to have the channel changed.

Rio Grande just south of 24th Street. Next to Gumby's Pizza, on the lefthand side of Rio Grande if you're going north. There's parking directly behind the building, and along the street. I'll probably see you there. I'll be the broke guy sitting there eating nothing and yelling at the TV.

    :D

I have to go to Happy Hour at the Tavern tonight. I know they've always ahd them on in the past and considering that this is nationally televised, I'm sure they will be on tonight.

The Warehouse Saloon (71 near I35) has had all the Rockets games on a big screen. There are usually 5-10 fans around.
