I've been on a Jimmy John's kick for the last 6 or 8 weeks, and I can't get enough of them. Doesn't matter the sandwich, if it comes from Jimmy John's, it's been freaking awesome. I see they are advertising on Clutchfans now, so not only are the sandwiches good, but they have their stuff together too.

It made me start thinking....who has the best? Subway (blows) and Quizno's (good) seem to be the most popular, but in my opinion, Jimmy John's makes those two places look like dogmeat.

So what is your favorite? Firehouse Subs? Lenny's Sub Shop? I've never been there, but since a Firehouse is going in close to the house, I'm going to have to try it out soon. Other candidates are Murphy's, Scholtzsky's, Jason's Deli, etc.....

BEST+++ Zeros sub shop which is independantly owned over by Greenspoint Mall has the best sandwichs in all of Houston. I get the large turkey and cheese....awesome!

WORST---Lenny Philly Cheese Steak gave me food poisoning a few weeks ago, so avoid that place.

I like Lenny's Subs, but it depends on the location. I've been to one that cooked their bread for too long and it was disappointing. I always get the roast beef.

If you want a good sandwich, but full of fat the California Club from Jason's Deli along with the Spec's version of it are really good..

Fatty posted a menu from a place that made me jealous. I can't remember the name of it though.

Lenny's downtown is good, a bit pricy though.

I really like Firehouse subs. In case you did not know, their trick is to steam the meat right before you get it. The only thing I have ordered is the ham and turkey, and I must say it is the best of the sub chains.

Thundercloud Subs in Austin makes a pretty damn good turkey and provolone.

Go to Kenny and Ziggy's and get any sandwich off the menu. It's located right by the Galleria.

This is another great place. I had one open in my town a few years ago. I think your sandwich is called the "Hook & Ladder". I always get the "Hero" which is turkey, ham, and roast beef with no cheese and full involved.

That's right - it was the "Hook & Ladder". And to the kids at home: fully involved means everything on it.

I'm a fan of Brown Bag Deli. They have awesome bread, meat, and cheese. I'm partial to the roast beef with cheddar.

    For a deli sandwich, I like Victor's.

I've heard good things from Which Wich or whatever. Never eaten there, however.
