Best place to get a loan?

    I am in need of a loan of $5-7000...

    I contacted CitiFinancial and the best they could do was $3000 because she said I wasn't a homeowner...

    Any advice?

    Visit your bank if you have a checking account. But it's hard to up and borrow money if you have little to no equity and/or bad credit.

    Spend the $40 and get your beacon score online.

    Start with your bank. They may be able to get more creative than other outlets since you are already a customer.
