i'm on t-mobile and i don't like the selection of US phones. i don't really want a data phone, just mainly an mp3 player-phone with a cool design. (example: samsung x830) anybody know where online or in Houston/Austin i can go (besides ebay) to get a really good deal for these models that aren't sold in the US? thanks!
Phones are becoming so crappy these days. I keep switching from a Samsung e315 and a Samsung d410. Both those phones build quality is better than anything I see at the Tmobile stores these days. I just gave up. I'll get the iphone eventually and will hopefully be set for life. But yeah, Ebay is your best bet. I don't know if there are places like this in Houston, but in Dallas there is this store near me which actually sells new and used phones. They also do trade-ins. I've never purchased from there before, but I guess it's another option.

Telecom in Houston. They offered me the Sony w850i for $200 with a 1 year contract with TMobile. The original price of the W850i is $400. I don't have their number currently, just do a search in the yellowpages. Their located on bellaire.
