You've gotta put Stephon over Parker.

I'll just say Francis is among the best point guards in the league.. to be among the best is already good enough

Right now, Stephon is probably better than Parker. I put Parker over Stephon only because I hate Stephon ALMOST as much as Malone/Stockton as well as the fact that Parker is so good right now at 20 (wait, isnt that how old Griffin is?? )
Parker will be numero uno in 3-7 years

francis is the best athlete and most explosive among those, but as far as point guard purity, he's last.

Personally, I dont think Mike Bibby is all that great. I think he is really overrated.
Jason Kidd is definitely the best point.
Andre MIller was up there last year, but fell way off this year.
Steve would probably fall in ahead of the Nash's and Marbury's of the league.
Payton goes at 2. Stockton is top 5. Francis is 3 or 4. Baron Davis is possibly top 5.

    PPG RPG APG
    Steve Francis 22.7 5.8 6.0
    Jason Kidd 19.5 5.9 8.3
    Gary Payton 20.8 4.8 8.8
    Steve Nash 17.7 2.8 6.9
    Stephon Marbury 23.0 3.1 8.2
    TONY PARKER 15.4 2.8 5.5

This hurts to see people, mostly rocket fans, puttin nash over francis; the stats don't add up, (these bein the 3 stats that really only matter). i can see how people put kidd and payton above stevie, but how u get nash above francis? and bibby too? sure he averages one more assist, but francis doesnt have a Dirk Nowitzki or a Michael Finley to score off a pass, so i find that unacceptable.

and also, i dont know how someone put tony parker is better than Stephon Marbury. marbury is puttin up great numbers

    so it should be

    Kidd
    Francis/Payton (thats real close)
    marbury
    nash
    bibby
    parker

oh yeah, bibby can't even be considered among top PGs with kidd, francis, and payton.

Bibby and Nash arent top 5 points. I love Nash, but I dont think he's there yet.
Dirk is the star on the Mavs.

    1. Jason Kidd
    2. Gary Payton
    3. Steve Nash
    4. Steve Francis
    5. Stephon Marbury
    6. Mike Bibby
    7. John Stockton
    8. Tony Parker

Payton's old but his defense keeps him above many young guys.

Stockton's old and annoying but his ability to run offense is really fantastic.

Oh forgot about Baron Davis. I would put him above Mike Bibby and below Steve Francis and Stephon Marbury.

IMO, Bibby's great because he's a star when it counts in the real NBA season. He turned the Kings from the championship pretenders to championship caliber. I hope when Stevie gets his chance, he'll show the same cajones.

Stats don't mean much to me. I didn't even look at them when I do the ranking. I think Nash runs offense better than Francis and this is the main job of a PG. Francis has better scoring ability than Nash but Nash's probably a better pure shooter. Their defense is probably equal. So overall I would give Nash the edge over Francis.

Carayip, you are ignorant. Stats make the player.
If u don't got stats, how else do u judge how good a player is?
