Best Open Source (free) Blogging Software

    I know Movable Type is popular, but I've tried it before and it wasn't as robust as Xanga or live journal.

    I'm looking for something that is VERY user friendly in terms of customization, editing, and adding pictures.

    Free, open source stuff would be best, but I'm willing to pay a little bit for really good software as well.

    It depends on what type of script your server can run.
