    When I saw your thread, those were the first 2, the only 2, that came to mind.

    Congrats! :)

    Deepwater Horizon was not bad at all, nor was Syriana (if that's even about oil). There really aren't that many movies about oil.

    There's a bunch of movies about "oil people" drilling into the bottom on the ocean and unleashing monsters...so which are the best of those?

    Giant is one of my favorite films of all time. It's like the Ten Commandments but for Texans.

    I watch it at least twice a year.

    True Stories, **** goes hard. It's shot in Texas, is it about gas and oil? I forgot but David Byrne from Talking Heads is in it and it's wacky af. I think it might be one of my favorite movies on how wacky this movie is.



    Best performance ever though has to go to Daniel Day Lewis. That's the best acting ever imo.
