WOW, its amazing what we remember. I used to LOVE Fireball Island. I totally forgot about it. Is this game still around?
there is a game that looks like fireball island. youre a bunch of hikers, and youre trying to climb to the summit, but if you draw a card or roll a dice, you hit this button and a top spins down and crashes into your pawns. know what im talking about?
punch yo face you shuffle the cards and when you draw the punch yo face card, you get punched in the face. the trick is, every card is a punch yo face card.
well color me nostalgic....motherfuk'n Fireball Island. it's been 20 years at least since i've played.
I loved this game as a kid. The countdown 'til the virus took over the ship made it really suspenseful. Also, it was a semi-cooperative game so it didn't cause too many fights. Fireball Island on the other hand, caused many a fight when I was a youngster. Everyone would always hold all their cards until someone finally grabbed the jewel and made a break for it. Then there would be a single turn where every single fireball and reversal card got played. In the heat of battle fists would fly. My friends and I broke it out again when we were in college and we still almost came to blows. I think the liquor might have had something to do with it... Was anyone a fan of:
I believe so, some games they've altered the looks and characters, not as good as the originals... you should see the Guess Who? game of today, CARTOON CHARACTERS!!!! no fun at all
