Best as in clean (obviously) but really want good picture/sound. With HT stuff getting so good I always get mad when I go and my audio detroys the audio I am paying to hear.
Mainstream: Edwards Greenway 24 (you asked for clean, but clean comes at a price) Indie: River Oaks Theater
how is the sound? I checked the website and it says 9.50 that seems in line with the crappy places I have been to. I think they may have been 8 bucks or so.
I always thought the Tinsel Town on Beltway 8 (between 59 and I-10) was a good one. Is that one in the area with the skatepark / bowling alley on I-10 any good (it has IMAX too....I think the Marqe or something like that)?
And it was garbage. They really let that place rundown. I used to go there once a week back when it was new and I lived in the area. AMC 30 Dunvale still keeps the place pretty clean. AMC in Sugar Land is also kept up pretty well.
Alamo Drafthouse, River Oaks, & Angelika Mainstream: Edwards in Greenway. Having to pay for parking weeds out the ghetto element.
i find it very frustrating that they haven't been able to put one anywhere inside the loop... it would make an absolute killing
Is there one that tazes idiots who talk or use their cell phones during movies? I'd like to go to that one.
i like dunvale too they have been opening up movie taverns.its one in humble right across the street from deerbrooke mall and another one in willowbrook. i heard that place is pretty nice.
AMC 30 on Dunvale is terrible. I went and saw 3 movies in a single day there, and the picture quality was terrible in every single one and the place was filthy. Honestly the best mainstream theater in the Houston area that I've been to is AMC 24 in First Colony. I've never had a problem as far as quality and it's always clean. I like the Angelika too.
