What are some good "makeout" songs? I've got a old "friend" coming in town this weekend and I'm trying to come up with enough makeout songs to put her in the mood and fill an 80 minute CD. The more songs, the better. That way I won't have to get up and change the CD..... Macy Gray. The whole album has a good make-out feel. And girls love her. This isn't a song, just a random tip: Go out and buy one of those paperback drink guides, prefarably one for exotic drinks. (Tropical sounding shots, chocoloate martinis, fru-fru mixed rinks, etc.) Tell your friend that you got it as a gift, and that you've been too embarrassed to make any of these drinks with your guy friends. Suggest that the two of you try making some of the fun ones. Make sure you have plenty of liquor and mixers on hand. This will be a fun, collaborate drinking game, it's more romantic than just splitting a 12-pack, it will get her in the mood, and it's a sure-fire way to get her drunk.
ima_drummer, one more quick thing---- someone suggested Al Green, and at times that can be an excellent choice. Be careful, though, about starting with something too over-the-top. You don't want to scare the girl off. If you use some Al Green or Marvin Gaye, cool, but make sure you build up to it. Good luck! And remember: alcohol, alcohol, alcohol!
