I'm looking to get away from the awful T-Mobile internet service because of the high ping and lag I receive from it. Please recommend any internet that you may use for online gaming that's fast and cheap and whether I should go wired or wireless for internet. Thanks a bunch.

First of all what games are you playing and from what IP or servers you are playing from? Doesn't matter how fast your ISP is if the server you are playing on is hosting somewhere else outside the US.

Tmobile? Where are you located? ISP's are not the same everywhere.

Without trying to sound rude, why the **** were you using T-Mobile HSPA+ as a means to play online games?

Also, it sounds like you just need a DSL or Cable connection for what you're using it for. I get pretty low ping times on my Comcast line (testing from Houston to New York City)

Wireless is fine, but I highly recommend using wired for gaming. If space is an issue, you can seek to use a powerline ethernet adapter. This will turn an existing wall outlet into an ethernet jack. Works great for me

Comcast Wired high speed. Cheaper than Fios.

any of the wireless LTE services should be fine for your farmville and bejeweled.

Wired and DSL is the cheapest route and will do if you're not too serious about a 100millisecond shooting advantage. If you live alone, skip buying a router and hook up directly to the modem. Wired can help makeup for the slower DSL which can sometimes = to wireless cable with a crappy network card and/or bad reception.

And check out all the services offered in your area before you go to a major provider like Comcast. The closer their stations are to your house, the quicker your connection can be (for Dsl)

League of Legends. And a server in North America.

And I use T-Mobile cuz my parents don't know squat about internet (cuz they don't use it) and though T-Mobile internet was enough. I managed to convince them for different internet, so that's why I asked here. Thanks guys for your recommendations.

    Cheap and Reliable = AT&T

    Costlier and Faster = Comcast
