Other than our little corner of the BBS of course... texanstalk.com or boards.houstontexans.com Thanks guys.
I've never posted on either board, but I do check out Texans Talk every once in a while. I think I'm actually registered there.
With the NBA locked out and the astros not being worth anyone's time, I see no need to choose. 99% of the time I'd much rather read as many discussions about the littlest things concerning the Texans than watch what ESPN has to say about the Jets, Pats or Cowboys.
Can someone tell me what their additions were? Besides a few re-signings, Orlovsky and Collins are the only ones that come to mind.
Texanstalk. Not as well known and flooded with updates like Clutchfans but it might be the best texans forum. Arian Foster's mom posts on there as well.
As far as I know, all they did in free agency was sign DL Jamaal Anderson and OLB Ernie Sims. They signed Tommie Harris too but ended up cutting him. The Colts added one new starter from last year, first round pick LT Anthony Castonzo. Meanwhile the Texans added 3 new starters in Watt, Joseph, and Manning. Not counting the moves made by Mario, Quin, and Casey. And of course, the biggest move right now is looking to be hiring Wade to come in and change the culture of our defense. Yeah, I'd say our offseason moves were a lot more significant and are more likely to actually improve our squad. Indy seemed happy with the status quo and giving priority to giving Peyton a new deal.
I remember hearing that she was famous for that when he was at Tennessee. In Clay Travis' book about Phil Fulmer's last season at head coach, he mentions that Foster's mom was a frequent poster on their Rivals site.
Funny - I just tried to register at ColtFreaks. I got an error message saying the admin has "banned my email address" click here to contact admin. (I have never registered there before) I clicked to contact the admin, and got a message saying that this function has been disabled. HaHa I guess they only like home-cooked opinions... I'm also guessing this was preemptive "banning" because I listed my favorite team while registering as the Houston Texans.
The official Texans forum average poster age is about 12. No one knows football there and it can get pretty unbearable. Texanstalk is much much better.
Anyone who's a regular at texanstalk, what's the deal with the pink soap? Is it a pink slip and a fight club reference in one?
