Alright, time to get back on the wagon and lose a few lbs. Where in Houston can I find good salads that will fill me up and not make me lose interest in my diet??? I like Papa Burgers Grilled Medium Rare Tuna Nicose (sp?) Salad, but need some variety. Thanks!
That is a damn good salad, Gummi. I've had it before. Personally, I like the salads at Hungry's and Ruggles Grille in the Village...or I just go to Central Market and make my own. Salads make up 90% of my diet during the summer in Houston.
Man, you might want to be careful with thinking that salads are going to be good for a diet. Most salad dressing if full of saturated fat and calories which in many cases will make the salad worse than "normal" food. Also, the low fat salad dressings are full of sugar which means lots of calories. Ok, but all that aside.....I've heard that Sweet Tomatoes has a good salad bar but I've never been. Also Rockfish has a damn good salmon salad.
Thanks for the suggestions guys. I may bring my own dressing. Can anyone reccomend any dressing without all the garbage in it??? Thanks!
I just came back from Ziggy's Healthy Grille and had an exellent Greek Salad with grilled chicken on it.
Agreed...this salad rocks...I also like going to Cafe Express as they have a lot of salads that rock too...
Barry's Pizza has an amazing antipasto(not too diet friendly though) and a homemade Italian dressing. Their grilled chicken and spinach salads are really good too. They consistently have the freshest greens and veggies.
