Sorry for taking a break away from the trade and Chris Bosh threads.

Who do you think is the best dunker currently on the Rockets?

I'd like to say Chase, but realistically I'd have to say Ariza or JT.

The Arizona boys -- Chase and Jordan -- are the best dunkers. Ariza is close, but neither he nor Taylor tops their hops, pops or bops.

And people say Ariza isn't a good decision maker- he just made a great pass on a pick and roll. Ariza was so underrated this season. He might be overrated after next season after people see what he's really capable of.

Well it would depend on how some would look at it. If it's by the number of dunks than Ariza wins easily. He's actually 31st in the league in dunks and even better, he's top 5 at his position(SF) in total dunks. Out of all our wing players, Ariza probably dunks it easiest because of his length, wingspan, and athleticism. But if you go by pure power, hops, and flashiness I think JT would be the best... for now...

IN terms of raw leaping ability and skills made for dunking, JT first, Chase second.............and then maybe Ariza a notch below. His (Ariza) freakish length makes a HUGE difference.

Why trade Aaron Brooks for Lebron James when we have a mini Lebron on our team?

JT is black so he is by definition the best dunker on the team.

Ariza's dunks aren't that acrobatic, they're just ferocious. JT's dunks are ones you'd go "oh that was a pretty dunk." Ariza's dunks just makes you choke on your popcorn.

Bud and Hill are the best imo. Bud can do the most stuff in the air while Hill has huge hands which allow him to do some monster slams. Taylor would be next

Ariza's dunking he brought to the team was underrated. I looked back on Rockets highlights and he noticeably put in a lot more decent dunks than I paid attention to. Doesn't mean he's a good player, but he brought the dunking ability at the position that McGrady was supposed to be doing.

    I'd say Taylor 1st, Budinger/Ariza tied 2nd, then Jordan Hill's a darkhorse candidate.

    It really depends.

When it comes to creativity, as in dunk contests, I'm going with Budinger.

If we're going for power dunks, I'm going with Taylor.

When It comes to dunking on somebody, I'm going with Ariza.
