Beechnut and Beltway 8. It's possibly the best tasting crawfish ive ever eaten. It's pretty pricey though, at 5.99 a pound, but the flavor that comes out of there is awesome. If you're not in the mood to work hard for your food, they pretty much boil anything up for you. I recommend the shrimp boil with the whole she-bang seasoning. They use very large shrimp. Also, you'll see large bits of garlic in the seasoning once your food comes out. I recommend that you just eat the garlic that comes out of there, cause it almost tastes like candy, its that good. There's also a Boiling Crab in Dallas, for those that live there.
Co-sign on Boiling Crab. After eating their crawfish, all others taste like crap. Make sure you go early or else you'll wait for a longggggggg time, it's a small place. Their whole sha-bang, as mentioned before, mixes lemon pepper, garlic butter, and cajun seasoning all in one.
Ditto on Boiling Crab...its $5.99 which is a dollar more than most other places but its all in the seasoning/sauce. That place is always crowded (1+ hour waits) so best time to go would be right when it opens which is noon i think on the weekends.
Don't want to hijack the thread, but on a side note here. Anyone that is going to boil crawfish anytime soon. I picked up a couple sacks from Hillman's in Dickinson this past weekend and they had to be the biggest crawfish I had ever boiled. I'd advise anyone that is going to boil to get them from there. They were huge! (that's what she said)
