Sorry I didn't see this post before... VesceySux is absolutely correct. By far and away the best chicken strips I've ever eaten, and the fries aren't bad to boot.
eek.. Jack in the Box falls into the same category as Sonic and Hooters.. just because you fry up some batter in the shape of chicken strips, doesn't make them chicken strips. Buffalo Wild Wings is another good one, I saw someone mention it. ALSO.. do you guys call em Strips or Fingers? Chickens don't have fingers, so I call them strips, but my girl calls them fingers.
You're like a Zagat's guide for greasy food. I hereby award you +10 food recommendation reputation points and bestow upon you the title of Iron Chef Fast Food.
BTW, were you one of the "Langhi" lost bets, or did you start in Jul, 2001? I can't recall. I could've sworn you were here earlier.
OK, gotcha. On a side note: The Chick-fil-A chicken (fried) sandwiches have only 9 grams of fat and taste amazing.
Bill Millers BBQ has the bomb ass chicken strips. There are plenty of them in the San Antonio area and some in Austin.
Ya see? I knew Fatty would be the expert on this. We need some kind of Bat-signal in the sky for Fatty whenever we have a junk food thread.
Some of the best buffalo tenders I have had were at the Houston National grill. You can get them with chips and they are wonderful.
They're not as good as they used to be, but I still like them. I like to get the chicken pot pie in a blue plate special (comes with three sides).
Dairy Queen is pretty nasty as far as fast food goes. Chick Fil A is pretty good as well as Whataburger (love the gravy and Texas toast). As far as restaraunts go, I LOVE the Chicken Crispers from Chili's...good honey mustard dipping sauce.
