Just wondering what yalls are, my personal fav used to be Ryans on bay area. But it got closed down and they made a hibachi buffet there which also kicks ass.

    And Lam Bo on westheimer.
So what are y'all favorite spots, any gold mines around here?

Not much of a buffet guy, but....

For Chinese buffet, I like to go to two places:
-E*Star, on 290 at Jones Rd.
-Hunan Chef, on 59 at Buffalo Speedway

Both of these buffets have superior food to your standard Chinese buffet. Way better than Silver Palace at Holcombe & Stella Link (alot of my friends swear by Silver Palace, but I think it stinks)

For Indian, the lunch buffet at Bombay Brasserie is good.

Ryans on Fuqua and 45 is one of the worst i've visited.. Ryans in general isn't very good to me. previous poster mentioned Bombay Brasserie which i will endorse. you can't go wrong with brazillian steak houses these days. and for Mediterranean, Dimassi's is pretty good too.

Star buffet on 45 south near 610 has a good selection. Ribeye steak on a buffet, ftw!

Had a buffet at Lubby's this weekend for lunch. Rate them a Otis Thorpe. Nothing spectacular but did what it was supposed to.

Yeah, but that wasn't a buffet and nothing was ingested. I don't believe.

Dimassi's is excellent. Highly recommend. Buffet both lunch and dinner.

Bombay Brasserie also has an excellent lunch buffet. Highly recommend.

Silver Palace is meh. My son loves it though.

Golden Coral is meh at best and can be absurdly crowded at times.

    Double Daves....

cant go wrong with their pepperoni rolls, buffalo chicken pizza and their super addictive chocolate chip pizza desert... puts Cici's to shame
