With the addition of Glen Rice, which Rocket (past or present) combined the best of 3 point shooting and goatees.

Props also to Kenny "The JET" Smith and Eddie Johnson.

They both won at least one playoff game for us.

Kenny 95 finals game 1 - (didnt win but hit 3 to take us into OT, which Hakeem won, 7 3pt's that night!!!)

Eddie 97 west conf finals game 5 vs Chitauh

    (sounds like poop-tah)

I dont know about best, but Horry could definitely take over some games with his three point shooting. He was definitely my favorite.

My personel favorite would be Kenny Smith.Smith had the ugliest shot ever.NO arc on it at all,Flat trajectory.Everytime he put one up I held my breath and was always amazed it went in...he was a lot of fun to watch now that I look back on it.

    Mario hit some clutch shots.

Mad Max also hit a bunch of time running off the clock bombs.

Maybe not the best shooters but were the most exciting.

Nobody hit them more when it counted than my namesake, Mad Max! That guy was so clutch down the stretch it was silly. He made the most improbable shots time and time again...falling out of bounds..with guys all over him...he'd hit the big shot to win the game. And ultimately he hit the one that counted most...the three pointer that iced the first championship!!! How sweet was that??? I was jumping in the aisle of the Summit, dancing around like an idiot with my Maxwell jersey on, just like a little punk! It was great! Great moment. Not up there with seeing my son being born...but definitely just a tier below those kinds of moments.

    i hear ya Madmax.
it was those falling out of bounds with three opposing players , a fan, and maybe a cop or two on top of him three pointers that made me a rockets fan in the first place. I know he can never come back, but I will root for him as long as I live.

In all seriousness, i think Bull had the sweetest-looking shot the Rockets have ever known. High percentage and silky smooth. Mario, Kenny, Sleep, Horry, and Max all hit big time clutch shots, but they lacked a little bit in the aesthetics.

AND ......Bull really does have a pretty krunk goatee.
