When he's on the court, ball has to go to him first even when yao is open. That's ridiculous considering it's yao's team.

Yesterday TMAC ignored single covered yao multiple times and swing the ball around. This should have been a easy game if TMAC is on the bench.

Right now TMAC is a poor man's Ginoblli with no defense but a 'Me first' attitude.

Start Landry at SG! I'd be more in favor of benching if the alternatives weren't so awful.

He gave the ball to Yao when he was in position. Yao exactly wasn't having a great game. Didn't shoot the ball too well. You are going to blame T-Mac for trying to get other players involved too? Give me a break man. I guess T-Mac is also the reason Yao was missing free throws and the reason why Luther pulled his groin.

T-Mac had 9 assist! That's 9 assist. But yeah, those 9 assist should have been all to Yao right? He easily would have had 10+ had our role players converted on some of the plays. He didn't shoot the ball well but was effective in getting his teammates involved. Why can't people be happy that we one? This is exactly what that one thread was talking about how Houston fans rather talk about negatives over the positives, even when we win!

I wasn't going to even type all the stuff you did even thought you are spot on, I didn't think the original post even warrants a legit answer. Especially how it's worded.

Everything nowadays is painted like Tmac is the problem and the devil reincarnate while Yao is a saint who walks on water.

Cmon.. if you don't notice this you're blind.

When Tmac is on the court it's pretty much the same old play. No creativity. There's more ball movement when either Rafer or Brooks is playing point.

On the defensive side, he is negative twenty million.

Many times Tmac can't even rotate offensively and defensively. He's too lazy to move whenver he doesn' t hv the ball. And when he has the ball, and double teamed, the offense dies instantly.

It's not up to T-Mac to make these guys move around. The same thing happens when we try to get the ball to Yao. Everybody just stands around and watch when they could move around and make it easier for Yao. Our role players tend to stand around and watch our superstars go to work. You can't put all that on McGrady. We know T-Mac is willing to give up the ball if guys are open so it's up to the other guys to get free.

If Tmac try to move without the ball, he would not have the ball in his hand all the time. Instead, he always STAND at the top of the key and waived to Alston to give him the ball. What was Skip supposed to do? Ignore him? You think Skip enjoy handling over the pgduty to tmac and being a spot up shooter?

Why cannot our sg play like a sg and our pg play like a pg?

I dog Tmac out equally if you see my other posts. If either of those 2 guys deserve criticism then I'll give it.

But I don't kiss one of their rear ends while kick the other guy's blindly. No credibility as true Rockets fan when you do that.

Skip defers to T-Mac too much. There are times where T-Mac doesn't call for the ball and Skip still passes to him right away. T-Mac does not call for the ball all the time. When he does, that's because they're running a play for him or through him. That play you're talking about, is the equivelent to Yao in the high post. Give Mac the ball, while the others try to come off screens, if nothing is there, T-Mac creates something. If you are complaining about T-Mac touching the ball too much, well that is what Superstars do.

Watch the Lakers and you'll see them throw the ball the Kobe and let him do his thing. Same with Lebron, Wade, ect. T-Mac is a great passer, he has better vision than Skip and is better at finding teammates because he commands a lot of attention. He had 9 assist that game so you can't say he didn't get his teammates involved. If Skip wants more PG duties, then he should try attacking the defense, which he rarely does.

When T-Mac is out, everyone is more aggressive because they know they need to make up for his offense. I don't see no reason why they can't stay that aggressive with him.

Clutch, can we bench the thread starter instead?

I mean we WON THE GAME, for crying out loud.

DD, you are asking too much for Clutch to do. Maybe we should just rollback the rule not to allow rookies to start threads. Not meant to discriminate, but really, I haven't seen anything new or original for a looooong time. Everything can be simply attached to other 30+ threads.
