Oh jesus. Is he gonna be a Boston-centric Batman?

The only thing that's going to make it hard to suspend disbelief is the fact that it's hard not to associate Affleck with Daredevil.

(Just kidding, him being an awful, awful actor is gonna make it hard to suspend disbelief.)

I wouldn't mind if he was the director.

I wouldn't call casting Alffeck a flop just yet. It's oo early to tell yet. Heath Ledger was initially panned as joker. Though, too bad this film is directed by Zack Snyder so it will be hot garbage.

I like Affleck, but who cares? Zack Snyder is the director again. That's a guaranteed flop.

Just seems like DC is more concerned with out-headlining Marvel rather than making a truly good movie. If that was their primary concern, they would have cut ties with Snyder instantly.

Devil's Advocate view though: For somebody as big as Affleck to sign on, a script most likely had to have been completed, and the odds are good he would only sign on if it was a great script.

But we'll see. I'm sick of superhero movies to begin with, so this really doesn't excite me much to begin with. I'm waiting for Hollywood to get some originality back, instead of just cranking out sequels, reboots, and adaptations.
