Afleet Alex is the favorite...and he's who I'm rooting for.

But I think Giacomo (4-1) wins this thing.

    anyone else have any ideas???

    1. Nolan's Cat N. Arroyo Jr. D. Romans 50-1
    2. Pinpoint J. Velazquez N. Zito 20-1
    3. A.P. Arrow J. Bailey D. W. Lukas 20-1
    4. Southern Africa J. Court M. Puhich 12-1
    5. Giacomo M. Smith J. Shirreffs 4-1
    6. Watchmon J. Castellano P. Reynolds 50-1
    7. Andromeda's Hero R. Bejarano N. Zito 15-1
    8. Reverberate J. Santos S. Russo 6-1
    9. Afleet Alex J. Rose T. Ritchey 6-5
    10. Indy Storm E. Prado N. Zito 20-1
    11. Chekhov G. Stevens P. Biancone 12-1

Gonna bet Pinpoint, AP Arrow, and Indy Storm across the board. I like horses trained by Zito or Lukas coming off at 20-1, especially Pinpoint, since Velasquez is the jockey.

yeah, i think that's probably a good bet. i don't know the horse well, though.

When I bet on a horserace, I wind up betting on odds and who the trainer & jockey are more than anything else. I have a gig near the racetrack on Saturday night....might have to head up there a little early!

    that's good strategy.

if i were throwing money on this, i'd be throwing money on giacomo for the reasons i said after he won the Derby..which are the same pointed out in the Chronicle article this morning, I think. he runs long. he breaks late. however you want to say it, the belmont is a longer race. i think that plays to his advantage.

i'm jealous!!! i'd love to be up there for that race!
