They lost the jaguars and the raiders, what makes you think they can all of the sudden win out?

i dont even want this team making the playoffs.

so we can lose in the 1st or 2nd round?

i love the texans but we've suffered way to many injuries to achieve the actual goal.

i'd rather retool with a solid draft. i wouldnt otherwise suggest this, but heck, WERE SLOTTED FOR THE #1 PICK. dont screw this up gary.

    jk. i know you will.

Most improbable Super Bowl run ever!

Although, at this point winning out is only going to cost us draft position since all those other factors certainly wont happen as well.

Doesn't seem to be entirely too farfetched. Well, other than the part that says the Texans have to win games.

    Damn this season has sucked.

Yes. The Texans have already been statistically eliminated.

    I was wrong.

I didn't understand that a 3 way tie-breaker in the NFL is based off of conference record. Makes sense.

That's only true in a theoretical sense - but it doesn't consider that all of these teams that have to lose play each other. So it's impossible for all of them to lose all the games necessary for the Texans to make it. When accounting for that, the Texans are already eliminated. That's why I mentioned Miami and Baltimore. They have to lose all 4 of their games. If they do that, that means other teams that need to be losing have to win games against them, etc. None of that is accounted for in these "who's eliminated" projections based solely on record.

Yes! Actually, I just wasted 10 minutes messing with the ESPN playoff machine. There is no way that the Texans can make the playoffs, even with a historic comeback.
