I would love to work with Barkley. That is the kind of job where you almost don't even care if you get paid because you are having such a good time. That is an awesome show and I'm glad that it gets some pub. I wonder why they are plugging a Turner show on ESPN though.

OLD SCHOOL...I dont know if you read Simmon's column regularly but it may be perhaps my favorite column to read (along with "the life of Reilly". Simmons wrote an article last week on Page 2 about a night at a Red Sox-Devil Rays game and it could have been the funniest column I have ever read in my life. If you haven't read it yet, I recommend doing so

its even better than the Kenny-Barkley article

Don't you hate Peter Vesey(sp) on the NBA inside show. It sucks when he is on and Barkley is not.

That show got a Emmy because of Erie and Kenny and Barkley's chemistry not because Peter Vesey(sp).

I laugh a bunch when Barkley is on the show. But the show kinda sucks when that A-hole is on the set.

I am glad that we will not see him anymore this playoff and probably never again.

I just can't wait till Barkley and Kenny start ragging on Vesey once he has been canned from any show ever again.

If you watch players being interviewed by Vesey, they all kinda have a pisssed off face.

Anyways, I just HATE Peter Vesey(sp).

In one sense you are right Carlit, but you also have to remember that even good shows have some everyone hates. You almost need that person to create the energy for Barkely.

One good example was that show called America's funniest home videos. Everybody hated that host. His jokes were bad and he was a dork, but ya know what, as soon as they canned him the show went to hell. It turns out everybody enjoyed making fun of him and that helped make the show a success.

I understand what you are saying, but he just sucks, He always interupts and never lets anybody finish there point. And if he is not interrupting, he does not say anything.

Like last night Kenny was talking about having team chemistry(Funderburke), is key to winning a championship and Vesey was trying to a be an ass by mocking Kenny, and saying "and you Kenny, use to cheer on Sam Cassell" and Kenny said yes of course, that was our team chemistry, noboby is better than anybody else, and that help the Rockets to a championship. Vesey just looked stupid, he was trying to say you were cheering on a rookie in Cassell.
Vesey tried to play it off by saying to Kenny, "don't play it off with a strait face"or something like that.
But that was exactly what Kenny was doing during the championships. And so is Funderburke doing now with the Kings.

I just loved it...Plus it was Vesey's last show.
The last couple of shows Vesey has looked pissed off like management has told him like 2 weeks ago that this was it for his ass.

    Nice finishing show....

So, in part II, Chuck and Kenny are talking about a player who doesn't want the ball in the post at crunch time. Since the Mavs won that game, do you think they were talking about Webber?
